SL12B Exhibit Info
Thy storm cannot scare me... 'Tis but a dream

Unlike our physical world, everything we see in Second Life© was born out of dreams. Roleplay venues like Asphyxiation Point are the very embodiment of these dreams where characters live, laugh and love everyday while crime, despair and conflict dwell under the surface. A dreamlike existence in a fantasy world. So when we heard the theme for the SL12B Community Celebration is “What Dreams May Come.”, we just had to sign up to showcase the unlimited freedom of expression we enjoy.
Photographer tips :
The exhibit is meant to provide but a taste of the endless possibilities and unlimited creativity offered to us by the world of Second Life©. Where else can you day dream in the rain without having to worry about falling ill the next day? Where else can a storm be something to be enjoyed instead of feared? Where else is every plant, every tree, every wall, a product of someone's imagination? Where else can your ideas come to life this way? We explore dreams and fantasies everyday at Asphyxiation Point. We wish to welcome you to the same.
Photographer tips :
- Enable Shadows and Materials.
- Use a windlight which is dark / casts plenty of shadow.
- Try walking instead of camming to get the full effect of the lights.

About Asphyxiation Point
An Urban Roleplay Community The ability to create art in every pixel is only half of what makes Second Life© special. What fleshes these pixels out are the people and the collective story we write. And that is where the true adventure lies. That is where true creativity lies. Asphyxiation Point is a dream. A dream where people come together to write a shared fantasy. A shared fantasy involving hundreds of people that evolves over time. Where one may safely explore the good, the bad or the downright ugly in their minds. Throw in a visually stunning build, a friendly community, a place to call home and ever evolving story-lines and you will see why Asphyxiation Point is one of the fastest growing role-play communities in Second Life. |
A small fishing village turned tourist town, Asphyxiation Point is both beautiful and dangerous. Will you succumb to the darkness or will you rise above it all? Where will your adventure take you? Who will you be?
