Miss Zoe Azariah, the so called “Drain Pipe Killer” was held on 11/28/2015.  Miss Azariah is accused of the following:

2 counts of kidnapping- Candice Caine and Maggie Firebrand
5 counts of murder in the 1st degree- Luis, Lorelii Sharktooth, Clarissa Moore, Kenzie Barrett and Lynessa Mellisandre
3 counts of assault on a police officer- Warwick DeSanta, Madison Monroe, Zoey Clements
Attempted Murder of a Police Officer- Warwick DeSanta
Aggravated Assault- Candice Cain
Resisting Arrest- Madison Monroe
Trespassing- Madison Monroe
Grand Theft Auto- related to jailbreak of Fletch
Jail Break- related to jailbreak of Fletch

The hearing was presided over by Judge Anthony Boscorelli.  The defendant has elected to not retain legal counsel and will represent herself.  The state was represented by DA Monroe for the hearing but will be handled by Prosecutor Everett Thane.  Miss Bethann Causten is assisting the state’s attorney.

Miss Azariah plead “Not Guilty” to all charges and agreed to the state’s request for a psychological exam.  The next court date is scheduled for Monday, December 7 at 4pm.

Last evening Officer Michael Halsey was taking statements from eyewitnesses in front of Fast Eddie’s Diner of a sniper attack that occurred on November 24th. All witnesses claimed they were standing on the corner debating having dinner when a shot streaked through the air aimed one of the witnesses and victim, Mr. Beau Wright’s head. Luckily, he happened to be wearing a hat that was very near and dear to his heart. Although the hat met an untimely passing Mr. Wright was not injured and escaped the incident without injury. Officer Halsey who was on foot patrol happened on the scene and as people began to flee and called for backup. With Officer Jay Biafra joined Halsey on the scene where the suspect was attempting to flee from the crime. Although the suspect injured himself in a fall to the ground from the diner roof, he was able to run from the scene evading the officers warning and tazor strike.
 
The suspect was later captured that evening by officers after leaping into the water and taking the officers on a short but wet chase into the sewers. The suspect was shot once by police in the leg and two in the buttocks for good measure before he fell to the ground and passed out. He was carried to AP Hospital for medical treatment, identification and pre-processing. So apparently it is not even safe to get a burger anymore or talk about getting a burger as Officer Halsey explained to the witnesses last evening. Halsey claimed that the event might have been a target on Wright but provided no proof to him. A redheaded female officer who was unknown to the press claimed that Wright might have in fact provoked the incident which drew a number of complaints from the victims of this crime. Officer Jay Biafra was called and then took charge over statements for the Halsey and the other officer stating that he was new the force and still in training as he calmed clearly upset witnesses who volunteered their time to the APPD.
 
APPD confirmed the same prisoner in custody at the APH attempted escape last evening. He managed to get hold of the guards and tried unlocking the cuffs that were clipped to the hospital bed rail. APH staff alerted the APPD who arrived and tazed the suspect after a warning was given for him to become compliant. The suspect point transported to the APPD jail once he was made compliant.

On the last days of fall, Anderson’s Bar hosted the first AP Harvesting Festival. The bar staff offered up pumpkin soup, ox from the grill, fruit cakes and of course many more fall treats for the hungry locals. Of course they also offered more to drink than we all could handle from fresh brewed apple cider, beer and hot cocoa to keep us all warm on a very chilly evening. AP Times took photos at the event for those who missed it and a farewell to the autumn leaves as winter as now set in outside of Anderson's Bar. 

To top off the gathering, they also hosted a creative way to search for the Harvest King and Queen by way of a poetry writing contest. The contestants were asked to bring a poetic thought on “What Autumn Means to You” in 10 simple lines or less. ​

​The men of the town were not feeling particularly inspired so the King throne stands empty for this year. However, the competition for Queen was very spirited and after a tough decision by the panel, we all must bow down to her royal highness, Ms. Pure Crisis for the following poem: 

​Oh Autumn... how you come to me slowly, 
Your soft caresses of  cold wind  ripple over my skin.
Ohh Autumn.. how it makes me feel,
So chilly till my nipples poke through my blouse.
Ohhh Autumn ....How I love  to lay on the  pile  of leaves,
And lift my  skirt  till you  chilly  kiss  hit my clit.
Ohhhh Autumn ...How you make the leaves dance,
How they blow up my skirt ..  and stick to my  slick thighs
Oh Autumn  ... how my cheeks blush as,
I long for your bright colors to match them
Thank you Autumn for being such a man
and coming on so slow yet leaving me  so fast

The beauty that sing to us from all around, if all you do is stop to hears is sound.
Cuddled up I do gently smile, As with these eyes I see beauty for Miles.
A blanket of Love to cover the Land, it looks like a death that no one will understand.
 

​Recently there was an unusual crime at AP Hospital. An unknown person tried to steal the blood reserves during the night shift. It was about midnight when a stranger entered the hospital holding a shotgun. He has threaten the nurses who were on duty and demanded they to show him the blood reserves bank and the money safe of the hospital. 

The money safe of the hospital was full with about $200,000 for the payment of the hospital staff and for maintenance cost. AP Times is suspects the stranger must have gained "insider" information. It is not clear why the stranger wanted to steal the blood reserves. According to rumors there is a new underground gang in the city who worship mystical cult ceremonies. Thus far the police have denied to comment.

​An unknown suspect breached a Fishing Cutter at the AP port last Monday. The Fishing Cutter belongs to Mr.  Michael Halsey who has just arrived to AP after a short vacation journey on his yacht. According to a statement given by Michael Halsey,  the thief has stolen $200 cash, a high end laptop, a shotgun and some shotgun rounds.   Michael Halsey has no clue who might have committed the crime.. He has already contacted to the APPD  to investigate the crime. The police are suspect the shot gun may turn up sooner rather than later in future crimes.

If caught, Mikhailov will face charges of attempted murder of the officer and the civilian. Under two weeks, Mikhailov was charged with resisting arrest after officers found him in possession of deadly weapon in front of the diner. Before firing at the victim last evening, witnesses report that Mikhailov shouted, “Your boyfriend is next.” The threat raises many questions. Why was Final Destination the target of this crime? Who is the missing boyfriend that could possibly be the next target? Will the police be able to find and secure him before he joins Destination in the hospital or the morgue? Lastly and most importantly, is the court system doomed to fail? With Mikhailov back on the streets and in under two weeks raising his level of violence to shooting civilians on the street is the bold new home rehabilitation strategy the way to go to curb the rising crime in the city?

Early Tuesday evening as APPD was preparing for basic training, a masked man was noticed on top of the theater by an officer. When spotted by the office, the suspect attempted to make an escape but the other officers were quickly notified and all made a pursuit towards the theater. Soon after their approach a scream was heard from the upper level of the theater. Once the officers entered the building they discovered Richard Ellson, the security guard of the victim Mackenzie Jay, dead at the scene. Mackenzie Jay was found lying and cuffed in front of the apartment over the theater.

An officer left after the theater was cleared to search the surrounding area for suspects. Ems were called to the scene for the victim. After speaking to the victim, Jay told the police the suspect fled through the window of the building. Additional officers joined the search of the area.  Only one man was approached in the nearby park. He was questioned and searched by the police because he was in close proximity to the crime. The man stated he had no knowledge of the crime and was soon released by police to resume his personal affairs. 

At this point, the suspect is still at large. The police are looking for a man of average height, blue pants, brown jacket, black hoodie and a full face mask. Jay claimed the man also had the strong scent of burning flesh and blood. Suspect was as of last night armed and with a silenced weapon. Any leads to the capture of this individual should be sent to the APPD.

Late Saturday night, Ansuara Oene, a resident in uptown put in a call to the APPD from the seasonal park in front of Anderson’s. She told the police that a man was threating her by waving a knife around and also a hand grenade. Officer Green responded to the call but the suspect, pictured above, fled the scene before she arrived. Oene reported the man seemed extremely confused and unhinged. Oene reported to Officer Green the man shouted something about “Frost” in a threatening matter which could in fact be the subjects name. She also reported the man seemed to have a fascination with nursery rhymes and used them with a threatening tone towards her. 

Effective October 15, 2015, “An Act To Authorize the Carrying of Concealed Handguns without a Permit,” allows a person who is not otherwise prohibited from possessing a firearm to carry a concealed handgun in the State of Maine without a permit. This law also authorizes a person to possess a loaded pistol or revolver while in a motor vehicle, trailer or other vehicle being hauled by a motor vehicle. According to this new law, there is little the police can do about tourist entering AP with firearms concealed or otherwise. However with the ferry dropping off tourists and new comers daily, it has come to the attention of the police it might be warranted to add additional security at the port. It is bothersome it think that not only are people entering the city with guns but also explosions with little or no preventive measures to stop them. 

On the breast of his upcoming wedding just a few short days away, sources tell us that Killian Turner emerged from home last night with no notice to fans, family or friends. Announcements went out minutes before Killian Turner took the stage in the center of uptown for a spontaneous concert. With just a few days of planning left for what is supposed to be a stimulating and magnificent event as he joins in marriage with Dae Kroll, it is amazing to fans and the press alike that Turner had time in his schedule to pull something of this magnitude off. However, AP Times suspects this will be the last we will see of Turner before the wedding next week. As a reminder the wedding will be held November 17th and will be an open ceremony followed by a closed invitation only reception.
