Proprietor Xelan Morgath had her staff on hand to take care of customers and service vehicles that ranged from vintage to luxury sports cars to off road monsters. Miss Morgath’s recent activities include contributions of her time and talents to the clean-up efforts that followed hurricane Hayden and her attorney Mr. Martinho Larsson was on hand to show support and point out his client’s good will. Mr. Larsson noted that Miss Morgath is “Again, doing her [best] for the community.”
The community turned out as well in support of the Last Chance Garage. While the draw may have been the free food and drink or the promise of topless service the atmosphere was decidedly light and jovial. The event more resembled a block party with loud music and attendees mingling and sharing and carousing.
Miss Morgath had promised to show “… how dirty things can get at a clean garage.” The promise fulfilled as tops did indeed come off and the staff showed they were more than willing to put all their assets to work to give the customers a good clean ride. From checking the undercarriage to polishing the rims, each vehicle received its own healthy helping of tender loving care.
The Last Chance Garage definitely used the event to highlight the staff’s enthusiasm while simultaneously advertising the full service a customer might expect including oil changes, fluids, and brakes. A satisfaction guarantee under lied the playful banter of the event as Miss Morgath noted, before good naturedly turning the hose on one of her staff, “Handling fluids is our specialty.”
