I don't even believe this *expletive* you got in the paper about me. We are neighbors. I am pretty sure I cut one of your writers a discount on ink pens. This article is *expletive*. Cold-blooded? Bully of women? Hooligan? She doesn't even know me. I demand an apology in person and in writing. I am just a man trying to make a living.

Editor's Response: We at The Times have a reputation to uphold of being a liberal Newspaper that will publish almost any Letter to the Editor, regardless of topic or opinion. However, we do reserve the right to edit these letters as necessary; as has been done in this case. It should also be pointed out that the article in question did have an Editor's note attached, stating that the thoughts and beliefs were that solely of the writer and did not reflect those of the Newspaper as a whole. One might suggest a mediation between the two parties by an objective third party before this escalates any further.
