Tell me... Do you believe in such a thing as second chances? Now, I don't mean a second chance at life, or anything as dramatic as all that... Like those folks who managed to live through an airplane crash and then come back thinking they need to turn into Mother Theresa in order to 'fulfill their destiny', or some other such happy-crappy. I mean a second chance to make an impression - to catch someone's eye. Maybe even get shagged. See, I've got me a friend that I'd like to knock boots with, but I'm afraid that they only see me as just that - a buddy or a pal. We had a moment several months back to hook up, but it just never happened, and now I'm worried that I lost the opportunity for good.
So yeah... is it like Eminem says? Do we really only have one shot?

Dear Second Shot,
I hear you there! For a moment you had me worried, I thought you were having one of those mystical moments in life where you'd try to cleanse your karma.
I am very glad to see your letter keeps me in my comfort zone, and so this is my advice: if they don't see you as shagging material it's because you haven't been shagging material! What you need is somebody to shot at you the first time and be sure your friend can see that, which will immediately turn you into fair game. Nothing better than sending the right selfie to the "wrong" number, for example, immediately followed by an "OMG so sorry, please delete it". They might even delete it but they won't forget it, and you're gonna have your "second shot", soon after the first one with the other person.
Another option could be inviting them to the Second Chance Prom, which is taking place in the Uptown Garden Cafe on March 31st. I mean EVERYBODY knows what happens after Prom!
