When DeSanta got no comment from the bartender he approached the owner of Climax, Ryan Maguire and informed him of the incident. The manager then approached the suspect with a member of Climax staff and DeSanta. The bartender denied putting anything in the drinks and then made a phone call which we are assuming to a second man, Laon Redgrave, pictured in the photo. Redgrave was armed with weapons and a tactical belt entered the club soon after the phone call. He threatened the crowd and the staff of the club causing a standoff with club staff, police and himself. Redgrave appeared to be just an effective distraction for the bartender and first suspect to escape the club without arrest. Redgrave did surrender to the police soon after the other man’s escape.
Dr. Carson Capelo did not want to comment on whether the incidents were related until she performed further tests on Dr. Steve Conners. However Redgrave didn’t seem to be denying his involvement and said a statement that could be interpreted as a threat towards the police.
We do know that Conners suffered an arrest in the hospital but was revived and is recovering in the hospital from the incident. The police are still on the search for Ian Shepperd. He is 5’10 with short blonde hair and slight build. When seen last night he was wearing a light colored shirt and jeans. We will follow up on this story as it unfolds.
