Multiple armed and masked suspects were reported to have entered the facilities early Saturday afternoon. They promptly threatened the staff on site, caused some collateral damage, and then left with the CEO as a hostage along with an undisclosed amount of money once the police were called.
A shoot out with said police then took place outside of the building, followed by a car chase along nearby streets and even down an embankment. During the getaway and ensuing firefight, one of the suspects was shot in the leg, while the others managed to escape in a white van.
The car chase led to several individuals being wounded, including Chief Kerri Oakleaf, who was hit by the escape vehicle, and Detective Jennie Irelund, who was shot at and eventually stopped upon crashing the police cruiser. The van was also damaged during the chase, which is believed to have led to the release of the Bank's CEO.
The remaining suspects escaped on foot. All three are described as male; two wearing orange overalls and one in blue, Of those in orange, one was very tall (insert height approximation here), whereas the other was quite short in stature.
Anyone with information pertaining to the case are asked to contact Chief Oakleaf immediately.
