The Associated Press is reporting a car bomb blast on the mainland killing three and injuring seven. The blast occurred during the day and in heavy pedestrian traffic at an upscale Hilton hotel. Security cameras at the location have an image of a tall blond woman, wearing a white dress exiting a vehicle that is presumed responsible for the deadly explosion.
Authorities investigating the attack have released information suggesting the person in the video is wearing a costume, but have given no further details except to say that there was evidence recovered in a nearby shopping mall that supports this conclusion. While the suspects true identity is unknown they do believe that he or she is still in the State of Maine and may possibly be in or near the vicinity of Asphyxiation Point. Local authorities on the island have been notified.
