The police on are on the search for a suspect who has terrorized two known women in uptown in the past week. Officer DeSanta has asked the public to be on the lookout for a man he believes to be named Dia Levi. Levi is described as being about 5 feet 9 inches with bright red hair. He was seen last wearing dark jeans, dark colored top and was traveling without footwear.
The fiancé of the latest victim of the crime, Izzie Ross, provided photos taken from their security system to the police of the criminal attacking Ms. Ross in their resistance in uptown on Thursday afternoon. DeSanta stated Ross is the second known victim to be assaulted by the man. Meave, Ross’ fiancé, stated Ms. Ross had reported the same man to the police prior to his attack on her. She had believed the man was spying on her but the police department did not take the threat on her seriously until she was attacked this week. Ross was unavailable for a statement at this time but told her fiancé when describing the man, “He came around again” proving that the man had been stalking her for some time before entering her home.
Residents should alert the police immediately to any suspicious activity especially concerning being followed or lurkers around homes or businesses. Any leads to assist in the capture of Dia Levi should be reported to the police department. Citizens are encouraged to be on the lookout and cautious until he is in custody.
