AP Times released a press release just a few days ago concerning the escape of Zachary Legend from State Psychiatric Hospital when he was believed to be on the loose in Asphyxiation Point. When discovered in town, Legend had been shot by police but did escape capture and had been hiding out in the city for the last few days.
He was spotted again yesterday by police near the corner of Second and Canel by Officer Jay Biafra, who called in for back up. Legend was chased tirelessly into the sewers but escaped capture once again and took a hostage last night in order to receive medical care. Tuesday evening Legend was caught, shot and killed by police officers. The APPD suffered minor injury during the attempted capture and the hostage, Dr. Carson was also spared from being the next murder victim of this clearly disturbed criminal. AP citizens can rest easier tonight now that this one crisis has ended.
