A local business owner of Phyxation, Candice Cain, hosted an event last evening at the Aristocrat Club in uptown. Ms. Cain left the party before its conclusion but has not been seen or heard from since last evening. Ms. Ansuara Oene claiming to be a close friend of Cain came to the police station this morning to report Cain possibly missing. Officer Kayleigh Green, who was on duty this morning, has taken statements from both Oene and the manager of the Aristocrat Club, Mr. Rob Farid regarding the suspected incident.
Ms. Oene states she attended the party with Caine but at some point at the event she lost sight of Ms. Cain and assumed she went home. She tried to repeatedly call and text with no replies. This morning Ms. Oene woke up to two text messages on her phone from Ms. Cain's phone number but she insists they are not her normal word choice and that someone is holding her captive and sent them. Although Ms. Oene claims it is out of character for Ms. Cain, the messages indicate Cain left the party to enjoy the remainder of the night with a man privately. Oene claims she has not be able to locate Cain at her home or business. Mr. Farid witnessed Cain talking to a number of people but gave no indication if she left with anyone.
Officer Green looked around The Aristocrat club but found no clue to lead to whether she was taken forcibly or not. AP Times did have a reporter at the event last evening. Ms. Candice Cain was last seen in her masquerade ball costume as featured in the image. Any leads to the location of Cain whether in a bed, restraints or both should be reported directly to the AP Police Department.
