The Skin Deep Parlor and Piercings was the scene of yet another sexual assault this afternoon. Around 1:30 PM, police and emergency services were called to the shop, where the owner - twenty-six year old Aerilin Jones - had been brutally raped.
The victim claims that the man had stalked her from the nearby water's edge and then back to the parlor, where he threatened her initially with a knife before pushing her into a back room. Once there, he commenced sexual assault without using any protection. The victim told him of her pregnancy, begging him to stop in case he harmed the fetus, and was worried for her own life. She even warned him that the baby's father would come after him in retaliation, but the attacker showed no remorse; instead holding out the knife and threatening to "slice (her) from (her) throat to (her) womanhood, to rip the baby out."
Prior to leaving, the perpetrator also threatened Ms. Jones with a gun, saying that he would shoot her in the stomach should she not comply with his request to remain silent about the rape. Though injured and in shock, the victim managed to get to help regardless of the threats, from a friend who had come to see why Ms. Jones had not been answering her cell phone, and this was when 911 was called.
An unknown witness at the scene claims that the assailant was a tall, black and bearded male, wearing sunglasses and a beanie, and was seen leaving the shop armed only with a knife.
When questioned by the press, prior to being shipped to hospital for further examination, Ms. Jones stated, "I just want to feel safe again."
Anyone with information pertaining to this crime should contact the APPD immediately. Any persons matching the suspects' description should be avoided at all costs, as he is armed and dangerous.
