On Monday June 29th a new Facility for the community opened in Asphyxiation Point. Wayward Home Of Asphyxiation located at 4 Atlantic Ave.
The founder is the well respected Mrs. Alexandra Rustic, CEO of our local Savings & Loan.
After recent shocking events in her life she decided to pursue this initiative.
The Wayward Home is for lost young adults that need some guiding into the community, a safe place to call home, feel loved and cared for. Mrs Rustic specifically chose for young adults as in her opinion there are enough facilities for children under the age of 18. The young adults can't be forgotten.
The place is not just there to have easy access to food and shelter, you're expected to return something to the community and learn.
There was a great turnout to the opening party and many dressed to the theme, The exotic Luau time on the docks. Simple but fun decorations and fruity drinks for those who wanted. The Home had put up a roasted pig and it was a great introduction to the Home and what it stands for.
The local hospital offered help if needed for emergencies, free of charge. Mrs Rustic and Dr. Capelo will work out the details on a later date. As Mrs Rustic suggested the young adults could do something in return for the community,
